FLIPKART Open Box Delivery  Services

Open Box Delivery is a new service from  FLIPKART which ensures that you only receive what you ordered. Under this special service, the delivery executive will open the package in front of you at the time of delivery. Both outside package as well as the brand package. Means, the packaging done by the Flipkart and also the packing done by the brand. In case the product you have ordered is missing, damaged, or different from what you have ordered, the delivery executive will take back the package and you will get the refund immediately.

How Does Flipkart Open Box Delivery Works?

• Select the product you want to buy and click on ‘Buy Now’ button
• Enter the delivery address and click on ‘Deliver Here’
• Select ‘Open Box Delivery’ option on the summary page
• Complete the payment
• Be present at the time of product delivery with valid ID proof
• Pay the amount to delivery executive in the case of Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Delivery executive will open the package in front of you
• Validate the product and confirm the delivery with signature
• If the ordered product is missing, damaged, or different from what you have ordered, the delivery executive will take back the package. The refund will be initiated based on the payment option you have opted at the time ordering the product.

Open Box Delivery is a Free service

• This service is currently available for select pin codes in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, and Chandigarh

• If your order is eligible for Open Box Delivery, you will get an option to select on the Order Summary page

• In case of prepaid orders, you will get a refund credited to your account according to the Flipkart’s returns policy. For COD, you will get the refund from delivery executive

• In case of COD order, you need to complete payment before opening the box
• Card on Delivery is not acceptable for Open Box Delivery orders
• Return requests for Missing, Damaged or Mis-shipment will not be accepted once Open Box Delivery is successfully completed
• You can only get a refund in case the product is deemed not acceptable. There is no replacement. You need to place a new order
• You can check the Physical appearance & components of the product if any, but you cannot test the functioning of the product
• In case you find the device to be defective after turning it on, contact Flipkart support for replacement or refund as per the returns policy
